Is this way out at the same place RHR was located or is it closer off HWY 247?  Based on the maps I can see it isn't quite as far off the main road as the RHR race.  Could someone plz enlighten me on the area for the start of this one?

At least its a "scrambles" so you can decide if its possible/worth the second loop, or stopping to pop a tire just before the pits  ;D

Its on Bessermer Mine road, which is past Camp Rock road where RHR was.  Knarley road to say the least, prolly closer to 247 then the RHR event, but this is like a 5mph road most of the way in !!

Yes, Bob is right. Its at the Rock Pile. About five miles of HELL that takes almost as long as North Anderson to get to (that's where RHR was).

Looks like I am probably going to miss this one.  :-[ I finally got what Nate and Staci had which lasts over a week. Luckily since I have been sick all weekend, my job that I was scheduled to work this weekend got pushed since the wrong carpet was delivered. Chances are it will happen next weekend.

I should be there....But if you don't see me there then there's a pretty high probability that I wasn't there and that I never said I would be...but I should be there.

a quick little race report,  James "Pokey" Jenkins got off the line well and was able to pull off a second in class, Eric "Twat waffle" and Aron Price came into the pits together and finished together, we in the pits made sure Aron got enough gas on his pants in the pits just in case he ran out he could ring out the rest of it into his bike to make it to the finish.  In the pits we had myself, Julian Gamaunt, Dean and Russ Jenkins, and some help from Doug Phelan and Darrell.

Sounds like were a little light on racers, I thought I (and Julian) had it easy last year at Vikings, SGary (one loop) JJ and Gumby.
Hopefully things get better in the near future and we can have more racers out there !!

I would really like to brag about my brother right now.  He managed to pass me (about 40 times I estimate) without it leading to dismemberment, broken bones, or loss of consciousness.  First time I have ever been happy to have somebody beat me.    Good job for his first race back.  He made me very proud.

Thanks for that but....It was all thanks to the bike.  I should be a lot faster but due to fear of dismemberment, compound fractures, and not being able to work, I choose to have a good time and not embarass my brother too much.  I took it easy for his sake.....Yeah right!

Good job Jonathan. That's cool you guys battling it out together, congrats to James you must like it fast. This is for the Jenkins; John Kearney (100's) owns a wrecking yard he specializes in Ford Rangers he can fix or get parts for any Ford Ranger. His website is ajaxauto.com or something like that. He is a good guy.

Another plug for John, I need a trans for our Nissan, He has one and for a decent price to boot. Now I need to cough up the dough and go get it.

A bearing had a existential crisis, which led to some degree of soul searching.  In the end the bearing decided it did not want to be a bearing anymore.  This was something I could cope with.  What I could not cope with was the bearings decision to convert to a radical Islam- jihadist mindset.  During it's brief but successful career as a suicide bomber it managed cause significant damage to the infrastructure of my engine and seriously wounded several citizens within the transmission.

I assume that would be, "Don't buy a bike that's been hammered, especially from a friend".
