Title: Catalina Grand Prix 1957 Video
Post by: Chris Cory - President 2012-14 -Life Memeber on May 17, 2010, 08:30:31 pm
Thank you to Centerpunch for providing this video. It is labeled the "last Motorcylce Race at Catalina Avalon 1957" but the last race was really in 1958. Someone knows the history I am sure.

The video can be viewed in 360p, 480p or 720p HD depending on how fast your internet connection is.

Enjoy your trip back to 1957!

That was awsome!  I don't think there is a single MC manufacturer that was represented in that race that is still in existence .... in it's original form (I guess Triumph is back).  Some things never change, though.  About 3:30 in the second segment is the same sort of bench racing that can be found whenever two or more riders get together.
