So who's going to Dirt Diggers March 23?
I'm pit captain so we've got that covered, should get some help so not too worried. Hope to see some Bishop folks since its in Red Mountain.

So just found out that Kevin's girlfriend may have their daughter MUCH earlier than expected. She's had a difficult pregnancy and due date is not until 4.24 but today's trip to the OB shows her at 2 cm dilated and her cervix is almost totally effaced. She's on modified bed rest now so not much more they can do. Baby Kara looks to be healthy and head is in the canal so more than likely she will be coming along more sooner than later. Therefore I need to be a bit "loose" in my immediate future plans. If she plops the kid out real soon I'll be back and be at DD, but we don't know what will happen.
Can someone back me up please?
I will make sure Travis Livingston gets the pit gear to the desert.

I will back you up,just in case. Pete

Thanks Pete.

Odds are that I will not be there (unless needed).
-
Will wait to see if we're having a meeting, no scouting at Fremont Peak.
Sure hope I can make it out, need some seat time.
-
Donn are you referring to this Saturday, or the Saturday before DD? I can't make it either weekend, but I'll pass the info to Darrell Moore, he's always up for a ride in that area. And I told Robert DD is a not to miss race so hopefully he'll be there.

Let me know if we are having a meeting, I will try and make it for the meeting

Not my call, I'm not an officer but thought it would be a good idea.

Hey Don, when will you know if you are going this weekend? Pete

I'm in unless the baby comes between now and then. Can't predict past that. All indicators are that she's going to be early, within two weeks of about a week ago. Some FFN test that's positive, first I've heard of that one.

False alarm last night, they were at the hospital with contractions but sent home.

8 days and only 3 members have said they are going. :-\
Look for an email and a post regarding this subject here soon.

I'm in for sure, baby is not coming for another week or so as best Kevin can predict. Last hurrah before the knee gets cut.

Short race report:
Travis Livingston - 3rd overall, first 250 vet.
"No Pants" Nils Davis about 12th overall, first red bar ride, not sure where in class, probably 2nd or 3rd
Sage Vincent - 1st Intermediate, 1st open
Cousin Chuckie - 1st 250 Sr. Beginner
And Gumby - Giant loop out/getoff at the bomb, gouged forearm, stitches for sure. Foot broken in two places (?).
Pit Capt. - Me
Pit Crew - Mark Vincent, Darren Livingston, Cynthia (Sage's Mom), Owen (Sage's 1/2 brother).
Spectators - Brian (Sandy) McKenzie
Spectacular weather with wildflowers and grass everywhere.
Bad news - Pete rolled his truck and trailer enroute on Friday night. He and Baron are O.K. but sounds like trailer and maybe truck are total. Then voicemail from Pam, she was in a serious accident Saturday night and may have totaled her car.
