Title: Rovers Boner Run

Rovers Dez Scramble coming up this Sunday. 11 am start so you can even sleep in a little, so no excuse there. Who'll be joining me? Donn Nay is providing pit support for you. I know Darrell Moore and Lance Johnson will be there. Deegan will be racing the kids race Sunday morning so we'll be there to show our support. So who else will be there to race or lend moral support?

We will be out early Sunday morning, I have the pit stuff. Rover Jeff Gifford has promised a fun kid's course, Degan is looking forward to it. Let's keep the momentum going!

Post by: Donn Nay on April 03, 2017, 07:01:18 am: good turnout again, 12 racers on the board, I think 7 two loopers. Only one DNF, Piper flatted at the first check, Nils second Senior, guest Steve Bullock second Magnum behind Steve Kirk, Jeff Coffman (new prospect) kicked ass. Ashlee had a tough start, bike wouldn't fire so she was way behind but plugged along, got her butt whipped but finished. Lots of great pit help from the "other" Nay family, my wife, The Vachons, Lance, Justin from Mammoth.

Now a GREAT BIG APOLOGY:

As pit captain it is MY responsibility to have everything in the pits for our racers and I failed, first off no tools, we've been so lucky lately with no broken bikes I was complacent, Piper paid the price as we had nothing to change his tire. Then I had no wet rags, water, etc. at the finish. Just not on my game yesterday and our racers deserve better. I am very sorry and it won't happen again. Piper I owe you an entry, next race is on me.
