1968 seems to be a popular year. I wonder if that's the correct answer?

I say 1967, unless there was a non-race year before 1974:

Based on your link, the 7th annual GP was in 1974. Counting back 7 years starting at 1974 puts the first GP at 1968. Is that what you meant by 19676?  ???
1967.6 would round up to 1968 if we were talking mathematics!   ;D

Rose Parma gave me a 16th annual GP T-shirt (which I still have) that says 1984! 1968 should be the correct answer!

Oh no not you to, another 1968 answer?  ;)

A little hint: The question asked what year Viewfinders put on their first race, not first GP.
Or was a GP the first race? Maybe or maybe not.  :-X

Alright, since no one else wants to play, here it is. I haven't been able to find out any info on this race since there isn't much on the net about races back then but our first race according to the District 37 calendars was 1967. It was a European Scrambles on December 17th.

For what? Your answer of 19676? Was in 1966 or 1967 you meant to type? And based on your worded answer, you should have said 1968! We will never no now that the answer has been released.  ;D

Oh okay, I will give you a bear this weekend for your effort.  :P

I slight slip of the finger! I meant 1967 by my bad math. Oh well.

I don't know what I'm going to do with a bear though? Might drink one of your beers if I'm offered.
