A "good dual sport kit" makes the legal requirements and NOTHING more !!

I have done tons of night riding with a stock front headlight.  It is not a real big deal.  Sure there is the occasional moments of complete panic but that is half the fun.  Most of us don't go fast enough to need big expensive lights anyway.  So you guys need to wash the sand out and out to the night races!

I can't stand not being able to see, a combination of old eyes and poor lighting is not good! Once you outride your headlight it is not fun. Besides its too damn hot that time of year out there. I'd rather ride in the mountains or go to the lake.

Yes the night races are big fun but after riding the course with a stock, 35 watt, headlight its
not fun. I had the opportunity to ride a bike that had to proper lighting and what a difference.
You could really see not only what you were riding into but where you were going.
I would reccomend that if you have the proper lighting to go out and do these races they are
big fun and should be experienced.
Arron anyone that rides a national hare and hound on a stock XR200 and finishes and is willing to
ride a night race with a stock headlight has my vote for rider of the year.

I agree, the combination of wearing glasses/goggles/poor lighting SUCKS !!

Might have to show up just to cheer on the ladies !!

Thank you guys but sadly I will not be racing the night races on a stock headlight as my bike does not have one.  I said I had done tons of riding at night with a stock headlight. I no longer have a race bike with a lighting coil and have to run the special battery operated Baja Designs HID.    ;D
