Certainly on the radar screen for me. I've applied for the "ride with a pro" so I'm holding off on jumping on a minute. Who's on the Price/Jones minute?

I am going out for the Family Enduro Saturday and planning on riding Sunday. Pre-entries have to be postmarked by 3/11(this Friday), if you are looking for a minute let me know and we can put together a 2nd Viewfinder minute. I would like to get my entry in tomorrow or Thursday.

How do we do that Todd? I would love to share a minute with someone that knows what he's doing. If they take me for the "ride with a pro" we'll get someone to take the spot. I can fill out the app and email it to you if that works.

Go ahead and send it to me at tiles@plazaresidential.com or fax to 951-276-8288. I will send them in together. According to the flyer it looks like they will charge the "post" fee if the enteries aren't complete. I can send the payment as well if everyone is sure they will make it, in that case send a copy of your AMA and District cazrd and Drivers license.
I'm pretty sure Terry was interested too, so that would leave us 1 more spot if anyone is interested. I do have a computer, it usually works, and I kind of know how to use it......however no guarantees are expressed or implied! ;)

Have him call/email Todd right away, I sent Todd my app. etc. and he wants to get a minute with the three of us, then we'll have one more spot that they'll hold for a fourth.

Cynthia just emailed Todd copies of my D37 card,drivers liscense and AMA card.Im going to print out the app and fax it to Todd tommorrow.

If you have room on your minute (and not sent ur entries in yet) Bryan would like to try his hand with a real enduro...he was the kid who rode with you at the family enduro.....I think he got his Enduro card last week.....Lee

I think Todd already sent in our entries, but he was going to request they leave the forth spot open so Brian could probably get on it at the event.

Glad Todd is there than, I'm certainly just learning. There's a 33% chance I may not be on this minute though. I'm a finalist in the "ride with a pro" contest on Ride Chec.com if I'm picked I get a free entry and ride on Ryan Kudla's minute. Will know tomorrow.

So looks like Todd, Me, Terry and Brian will fill out the second Viewie minute. Hope someone can help me with this ICO computer. I programmed in the family enduro last night, took me about an hour but I think its correct. Will see on Saturday. Might take the easy way out for Sunday and get someone to "zap" it with their program. It is fairly intuitive once you do it. Now just got to figure out what it all means and how to race with it.

Donn, which ICO do you have? i have the older ProComp (single display of late/early, minute and mileage.) I know how to program it, and also if you get the route sheet off of ICO's website, they go through the clubs sheet and put it in columns that match the programming of your computer (i.e. spd cng, mile, new spd). I just checked though and its not up yet.
We will figure it out. We can also use the first loop to make sure it is recording mileage correctly, etc. Always helps to have two to compare, if they are way off from each other, you just have to figure which one is right!
I am planning to head out Friday afternoon.

Sounds good Todd. I have Russ' old ICO that he got from Charlie, its the pro comp II big old red thing. I'll get the sheet from ICO if it comes up tomorrow. I think I managed to get the family enduro in O.K. and since the sunday route sheet has only one speed and five resets there isn't much to program!
I'm heading out friday, probably be there early evening. Where you gonna be?

Your right, Sundays is pretty quick and easy.
If the set-up is the same as usual they are off of Stephens mine road, camping is usually along the right side of becasue the RR tracks are over there. Will probably look for something about 1/2 to 2/3 between Trona Rd. and the Prospectors camp. They are usually right where it crosses Pipeline. Would like some room for the kids to ride, so not too close to sign-ups. I have some arrows in my truck and will bring a flag.

Yeah all three loops were epic.I thought i did great on the first two loops but just got tired on the third.Overall it was a blast,one of the best courses of the year for sure.Hopefully see a bunch of Viewfinders out at DD next weekend. :)

I want 2010 back, I don't need to be riding two loops, especially as technical as these were and at a 24 mph average! As Terry said some epic trails but just not at that pace. REALLY appreciated my Rekluse on the second loop. I think I was 35 minutes late at the finish of the second loop.

If I remember correctly, my last Euro average speed was not too much faster than 24mph :-[

Had fun Saturday on the family Enduro. Thanks to Lee for stopping on the way home yesterday and checking on us. We stopped on the 395 to put our extra gas in the truck because the wind got so strong after Kramer Junction we were not sure we would make it to Adelanto.

Actually no. I rode like crap. KJ is the man! He kept up with me for the whole second loop and even passed me once. He is minute captain for now on just for being so hardcore at his advanced age.

Results for Prospectors are up. Looks like Lee got a 1st in class, Terry and Aaron went 3rd & 4th, Donn got a 3rd, Jones got 11th and I ended up with a 10th. Oh well, its all about the sense of accomplishment right..... Good job to the rest of you that were up there in your classes!
