And yes we survived the power outage.

I have come across a down rider that was out cold, felt helpless, but it wasn't long before someone much better trained than I stopped.
I rode to the next check to get help. Would do the same if it happened again.

Post by: Keith Jones - VP on September 13, 2011, 07:26:25 pm: Mark saw a BIG FLYING 'W' a couple miles off the start and stopped to assist. Pete was a couple rows back and stopped also. When the helo showed they continued on and came across another 'out cold' situation several miles later. Those of us on the 2nd loop, their 1st, were waved by. When Rescue 3 showed for the second situation, they deemed karma wanted them to head staight back to camp w/ an unfortunate DNF. Their assistance was much appreciated and we are PROUD to know that their character rules what was the RIGHT thing to do!!! _.._ _.._ _.._
