Hello fellow ViewDigger Brothers and sisters,
As you may or may not know our brother Waggy is currently battling stage 4 Melanoma skin cancer. This past Sunday Waggy suffered a seizure and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. An MRI scan has come back to show that unfortunately Waggys cancer had spread to his brain. Waggy is in good spirits and hanging in there like a champ. Waggys Medical bills are piling up and he needs our support. Sheri Kibbe has in conjunction with the Rovers M.C. has set up a Poker run to benefit Waggy and his family Sat. Sept.14 at the Rovers Boner Run H&H. We are looking for clubs to help out with running a check. It would mean the world to WAGGY and all of the Diggers if you Guys and Gals could help out.
If you can please contact Sheri on the district board and let her know. I really hope you all can come out and support Waggy, the Rovers and the GREAT people of D37.

should we volunteer for a check? Do we have time to make it a "viewie" check? I have black/gold beads at home from one of our shenanigans.

I am planning on being there as well so I think we have enough people to cover it at around 10 people at least if not more by then.
We have 3 weeks so we should be able to come up with something good for the check.
I will let Sheri know this morning.

I just found out that D37 officers are hosting one of the checks so I'm committed to that for now. However should they get enough people to handle that I can help at ours.

Thank you all SO MUCH!! for stepping up and helping out. This Means a lot to Waggy, Myself, and all the Diggers. Can't wait to see you all there and see what you come up with for your theme. Long Live The Shenanigans!

I got the okay from Grandma to watch Ivan that weekend so I can help at the check. Let me know if I can help with the theme. I am on leave hanging out at home.

If you could work on a theme an help organize this Cynthia it would be great! I will know for sure tomorrow but it looks like I am not going to be able to make it. My job I did Saturday night went bad and at 4:00 am in the morning we had to revert the system back. The new date to try again is planned for that Saturday. >:( This is for Western Digital (Known for their computer hard drives) with 2700 phones so it is a major job and I can't get out of it.

I think if the heat is not to much, some critters should show up for the check. with that in mind we could have a movie check with everyone dressed up as a character from a move, TV or ?

OK Viewfinders, the poker run is two weeks away. We need to make a final choice about the theme of our check and who is going. It would be really great to have a large turn out for Waggy and support our Dirt Digger brothers and sisters.
I am in as well as most of the Bishop folks. I was thinking of a movie montage with everyone dressed up and some sort of charactor from a movie. Any other ideas?

Movie theme is good but weather will be hot. I was also thinking of a Catalina theme since I remember Waggy being there... I had there was going to be picture boards made by one of the dirt diggers for each check, made we could ask them to make our board pictures from that Catalina GP. And those of us that went to the Gp can where our t shirts Guys can even wear bikini tops for a laugh, also island attire and decorations.

Please list what you plan doing/wearing and how many. This way we wont have repeats of the same characters.
I will be bring Frank and Bigfoot and maybe Danger kitty.
