So very sad to wake up to this news. I didn't know Kurt but from all accounts was a really great guy. I know he took the time with the kids and Nate got his ribbon signed by him. Suck a tragedy to loose a person so many people look up to in our sport. I am glad that the initial reports of it being a booby trap are looking to be false.

Heard abut it this morning. Very sad news indeed. Kurt always had time for others. He is now w/ his father Rich eternally bench racing.

One of the hardest things I've ever had to go through... I miss him dearly ... My heart just breaks every time I think about it...
