Title: Club Flags
Post by: Aaron Price on February 03, 2008, 06:12:22 pm
I am planning on making a flag since I now have a trailer to camp in and a flagpole.  What material are your flags made out of?

We have it with Eric Lemoine's trailer.  Don't worry I haven't lost it.   So I will most likely take that one and give him one I will make.  I hate to just jack it from him without making another one for him to put on his trailer  when he is out there with us.  (it means so much to him and he is so proud of the Viewie colors)   Besides the more flags the better right?

So guys what is the right material for me to buy?

Check with Keith and see if he has any flags left.  No one makes them anymore. Keith orders them from somewhere.  If you are dead set on making one, you'll need a good ripstop type fabric and you can then use iron on type patches in black.

keith does have some he gave me one this weekend.
I also collect one back from Al so the Barneys have a new one for the trailer and one on the Rhino. Old glory is retired after 25 some years. The black checks are very faded and the outer edge is getting torn up.

You all need to step up to real flag poles. Go to http://www.polesandholders.com and get one of their telescoping poles and a camp marker light L.E.D. The mounts are easy to rig up with either ABS or PVC, come check mine out this weekend. If we do that and more people have flags we will be SEEN.

No definetly not, I use the PVC pipe for my homemade anti aircraft artillery weapons.  Never know when you are going to be the victim of an aerial assault.  Best be prepared.
