Awesome proud daddy moment today! Degan has been struggling with this new MX series we are running and today some stars aligned for him! Although the first moto didn't go as planned his second moto was amazing! Ended up about 4-5 overall and 1st in class that set him up for an awesome 3rd place podium! The kid got his first ever MX trophy!

Here's the flyer for the Lost Coyotes Race weekend of Sept 9/10. Saturday is a Pro Hard Enduro which sounds like some fun spectating. Sunday's race is Sprint Enduro which pays Cal Scrambles and Desert points. Sprint Enduro is like a qualifier.....you are timed thru a special test section for your score, and cruise when not in a special test. Read the flyer for how many miles you go. Red numbers do 11mile loop 3 time, black number novices do it 5 times (I think this will the less technical loop). All other black numbers do a 7 mile loop 5 times ( a separate probably more technically challenging loop). Dee Jenkins will be providing pit support for those that might need to gas up. Cool to see a new format being tried. Hope to see lots of Golden Rod and Black out for this one.

Joey, that meeting was between some of the key club folks that are heavily involved in making the GP happen and the city of Ridgecrest people to get the ball rolling for this year. At some point there will be stuff for members put on the Members section of the message board so that only those in the club can see. If you would like to get more involved in the GP planning, help is always welcome. Contact Donn Nay or post on here.

Got some good stuff coming, course changes, etc. but the overall layout not much different.
Won't go into details here on a public forum but we're looking real good.
Contract with FOF is signed (rent went up $400.00)
Will get permit filled out and off to Ricca shortly.

Need everyone to start thinking GP. Look at your work calendars and clear some days in/around 9/30&10/1. We really need more people to stay on Monday and help clean up so that those that do aren't there ALL day. Also start thinking about where you want to help out and if you'd like to step up to be a section captain; I believe we have two new ones this year, Kyle Nay will take over fully from Steve at the start and Dylan is taking the EX section from James, aside form that we're open for suggestions. We'll get the sign up sheet posted on the members section soon. Also note that we have a couple of new sections this year, one is "Camp" and that will be Lance Johnson and a new course section between the Junkyard and LaCharite Land.
