1) Meeting called to order by Ryan Wilson, District Referee.

2) Attendance and minutes taken by Janine Kohls, Secretary.
Stewards present: Dan Barnett, Joe Bianchi, Keith and Kelly DeJongh, Jannean Sapp, Greg Seda.
Stewards absent: Stacy Doerksen, Craig Owen.

Guests: Jerry Grabow, Alex Grabow, Chris Asquith, Julie Angel.

3) Flyers Reviewed:
a. SoCal National Hare & Hound:
- Add staging area.
- Add D37 website.
- Recommend adding reference to $10 surcharge for 2011.
- Recommend adding trophy percentage.

b. Lost Coyotes: Change Sunday sign-up time to ?a.m.?

4) Sammy Bangert. Ryan stated that Sammy Bangert?s parents have requested he be bumped to the intermediate skill level. Ryan will contact Craig Owen to discuss the matter.

5) J.D. LaVancil. In response to a rider complaint that in 2011 J.D. LaVancil has been riding below his earned skill level of Expert, Ryan and the stewards discussed J.D.?s D37 race results since 2008. Dan Barnett (steward) discussed interactions he has had with J.D. concerning his 2011 skill level. It was decided that Ryan would send a certified letter to J.D. advising him that if he continues to ride out of his skill level he will be suspended from D37 for the remainder of the year and he will lose all points earned in 2011.

6) Race Promotion. Jerry Grabow spoke about declining ridership and whether there is a direct relationship between flyers not making the deadline for the newsletter and lower race turnout. Clubs need to submit flyers to the Competition Committee for review at least 120 days prior to the event, and submit flyers to JART by the 1st day of the month prior to the event for distribution in that month?s newsletter (i.e., June 12 race date flyer should be submitted to JART no later than May 1).

7) Scoring Program. Chris Asquith was present to discuss the scoring program he has been working on and to answer questions about the program.
