As I suspected, I will not be going to this event. I have an install happening this weekend. I really wanted to do these multiple day events since they are a great bang for your buck but work comes first.  :(

I'm committed, will be taking the pit duties for this one. If someone else wants to take one of the days I'll race, otherwise I'll pit both days. I think Mike is coming out to help as well. Kyle (Rag Boy) says he's gonna race but we'll see, he's said that before and backed out.

ISN'T ANYBODY ELSE COMING OUT? KJ said he thought he was coming, not sure which days though. We'll be out sometime Friday night. Mike can't make it now, has to replace the sewer line at the apartments he manages.

Thanks Gumby, please set out some signs, I'm sure we will be late on Friday. Wanted to leave from work but look like I'll have to go home first and pick up Kyle and Pam so we won't leave Burbank until after the traffic dies down a bit.

Gumby, Rag Boy and I raced Saturday. 64 miles of not much fun. Lots of whoops and cross grain hammered the wrists. Rag Boy started w/ issues and DNFed w/ issues Both Gumby and I struggled w/ 6th place finishes.
Sunday morning Kyle w/ broken bike and Gumby to sore to ride left an opening for both their dads to ride a Paul Krause 'one loop' race yesterday. Julian had a 1st in class finish, Don Nay was physically wore out and I took a Rag Boy nap on the cousre for an hour because I chose not to take enough fuel in the pits. Big thanks to Kyle for bring out fuel to me and another mini rider that had my same problem. 140 miles whooped me!
W/ the father/son competition, I have to say the fathers won hands down!!!
Great weather and great company as only 5 of us were there to fly colors. (6 w/ Tara) KJ
ps A suprise visit was enjoyed Sunday AM by the 35 lb lighter Aaron Price!!! He looks GREAT!

Sunday absolutely kicked my ass. I have NEVER been so tired riding only 38 miles. I'm sore from head to toe today and I'm sure tomorrow will be worse! Looks like good hot tub soaking is in order tonight. Sunday's course was fun though, tight and twisty but relentless.

Congrats to Julian for a class win in his first race in 8 years! Yellowjacket said I was fifth in class, that means someone DNF'd since I know there was a So Cal rider on a Husky that was doing worse than me and there were only 7 on our line.

I gotta get in shape if I'm doing much more of this.
