It does not look like I will make it, Darlene totaled her car last night on the 14 Fwy. She is ok very very sore and brused but ok. It looks like we will be car shopping instead. Good luck everyone!

Damn Charlie, tell her we are sorry to hear it. Hope she starts to feel better soon. If you guys need to borrow a car until she gets another one, let me know. Wait, on second thought, she just totaled her car.  ;D Seriously, if you need it or anything else, just let me know.

Small turnout this weekend but FUN courses.

Keith and Dave Springer (yes, THAT Dave Springer) were in the first race on course A. KJ had some bike issues and stopped where we were watching, right after the start, to see if we could get it fixed, thought it was carb. related so dissassemby and cleaning insued but to no avail, still ran like crap. KJ soldered on and got a finish and some points. Don't know how Dave did, he loaded up and was gone pretty early.

Norm and I rode the 10:30 race on course B. Real fast loop, right at 9 miles according to Bob Koch. Norm finished 10th overall and about fourth in class, I was 20th overall and second in class. This all according to very preliminary results, first overall in our race was a Mag. Novice, how could that happen?

Terry was in the same race on Course A and finished ahead of the only other racer in his class.

The noon race on A course was the "fast guys" and Gumby and James were included. Gumby is still nursing a bad finger with his right pinky in a splint so he was just "cruising for points". James was on the gas and made up a bunch of time to finish 2nd in class. Really fun watching Jake Agubright beat Kendall, they were flying past where we were watching.

For Sunday's race KJ borrowed Julian's Gas Gas and rode to a respectable 5th or 6th on B course. Norm left Saturday night and I was ot in any shape to race again so Terry is the only one that raced at 10:30 and I see he had a DNF, didn't talk to them before they left as we were out to watch James and Gumby agin on B at noon. Both got bad starts but this time James just couldn't catch the others as well, I don't think he does as well on the real fast courses. Gumby soldered on for some points.

Weather was just a bit warm but not too bad, overall a great weekend.
