Pete, Charlie and I are riding the Anza Borrego DS ride that weekend. Wish it didn't conflict since it pays enduro points too. But I'd rather ride DS than a Checker event.

Cant make this one. 525 in shop for a new top end and 500 not ready, not to mention the price of gas/diesel. WTH with the prices!

I won't be going either since I am on call and then I will be doing a back to back with the Glen Helen GP and then HBMC.
As far as the fuel prices, I am trying not to think about it. It cost 160 to fill my truck when it was 4.30 a gallon and today it is 4.39 here and climbing.

Mine is close to full with sub $4 a gallon fuel and I have an extra 10 gallons, so I should be out to watch/help.
I would race, but 40 "Checker Miles" is a bit much right now.
