Who is going ??

Is the April Meeting going to be that weekend ??

Close to the Fish Lake ride, so that might affect attendance. I know some of you don't like Vikings National H & H, too tough  Pot

Too many things for "This Old Man" to comprehend   :-[

I will be there as Pit Capt and can pour gas, Lila can handle water/goggles, We could use at least 1 more member to help if possible.

See Ya then.

Chris and I just spoke about this friday. Since none of the Bishop folk will be at Vikings (week after Fish Lake) I think we're better off with a meeting at Badgers.

Well another race in the books.
I will let Gumby tell His story, Sage finished well, I believe 2nd overall novice.
VERY HOT out there, mid to upper nineties.
From what I heard, alot of DNF's.

Now the Saturday afternoon drama
I take Ryder for on walk about 6:30 on flat ground, NO rocks, just brush and sand.
Ryder sniffs each bush and lifts His leg on them, until one of the bushes has life in it and out comes a small Mojave Green. I swear Ryder does a back flip and lands at my legs, in reality he stood up on his back legs, jerked his head back and fell over, but He sat down right next to me and did not go after the snake. Ryder and I were standing 3-4 feet from "Mr Green", I am going to call the match a "draw" since both are still alive. He and Dez just went to the Snake avoidance class Friday morning and Dez passed with "flying colors", Ryder passed, but I was a little concerned if he would really avoid a snake,  He did !!  I was not sure if the snake had bit Him, we could not see any fang marks but a lump on his nose started to swell.
Lila took Him to the vet and got Him checked out, they thought He would be O K and let him come back out, he is doing fine.
Quite A Scare for sure.
Please make sure your dogs get the "snake vaccine" and if possible go to the class, it proved its worth  yesterday.
Glad today is over with, way too warm for April !!

Sage stop by tonight from training in my sand box. He told me his rear brake pedal bolt broke going to the bomb and he rode the rest of the race with no rear brake. On the second loop he when back and forth with the guy that ended up 1st OA novice. Sage said he would past him in the valleys and would pass Sage back in the hills. Sage ended up second OA and first 250 novice. Nice Job Sage!!!
