If anyone wants to follow Jason and my progress along with Viewe chase during the event Rsenal Racing has a web site with a GPS tracker link. Both bikes and chase crews will be listed for all to follow. Here is the link http://www.rsenalracing.com/

At the top of the page you will find a GPS tracker tab. The event starts at sun up the first pro starts as soon as it is light. In my mind I'm looking to be at the finsh in a 11 hours or less.

Checked a couple times today, as of 4:47 looks like Race bike 40 was at mile 504.  Charlie (Race bike 50 i think) has been at mile 47 since this morning.  Hoping the damn transponder fell off the bike or something, but anybody know anything?

I was told Jason's team came in 4th and Charlie's team was having electrical problems with the bike.  Unknown if they got going again.

I talked with Charlie this morning and not a good day. Chuck, the team owner, stepped off and is in the hospital with rib and
back issues. They were able to continue but had bike problems. First the clutch went away very early then the ignition went and
that was it. They were leading their class and just needed to finish to win but they just didn't have any luck this year.

The team owner Chuck broke 3 ribs and his back comming into pit 7 but everything works he will be find in about 10 to 12 months. Not a good day the Husky died at mile 485 I believe about 11 miles from pit 14. We got the rider out of the desert at 12 midnight and was in Reno at 2am, can you say it was a long day!!! The bike was recoverd the next day. Fun times.

Ignition failure?

Bad day for sure, was hoping you'd get the bike and be able to finish after talking to Pete. Bummer.

The problem is unknown at this time but that is what we are thinking. Once Chuck is up and getting around he will let me know what he fines.

How did Piper and Quagmire do?

The 40 team with Piper finished 4th in class. They got a 15 min penalty for roosting a paved road crossing (it was not Piper) which set them back in the overall but did not affect their class finish. Quagmire was not part of the event. The Yamaha they were on ran all day no problem it was just slow and Piper did most of the racing work for the team. It?s hard to get up front and stay there when others are not making time.
