Yea, I know why "hoping" is the right word Gumby, saw the aftermath of your dnf at VCMC. OUCH! I've never seen a wrist pin that blue and still have all the needles intact.

Any reports ??
Believe it or not Tara and I were the 1st ones out @ 10PM Fri. to set up camp! James and a couple friends showed up. Sage and his dad were next and around 11 PM Gumby and Julian rolled in. Gary LaCharite was taking power naps from Bear Valley Rd to Cougar Buttes. He landed and parked it about 4:30 attempting to sleep in the front seat of his work van!!! A little windy Fri night and Saturday, but it kept the temps down.
Saturday @ 9AM, Gary and I were of on A Course w/ Gary 4 OA and 1st in class. I lost a ring and DNFed . Broke 50 ft from James and his friends who were out on the course watching. Both Gumby and Sage rode different races on the "A" course Saturday w/ both getting 2nd in class. RUTS put on a very good event. All around good courses, good band and good company. NO Viewfinder Raffle Winners though :>(
Sunday Julian let me use his Gas Gas. Switched our # plates and I rode Course B. Sunday Gary repeated Saturdays results and so did Sage and Gumby. Sage 2nd OAed his Novice races both days. I finished Sunday and gave Julian his bike back in one piece. :>)
Gary had front fork seal issues Saturday and had oil everywhere which didn't help his front braking. He had brought an extra set of forks and swapped them for Sunday. Sage lost his silencer 1st lap on Saturday and everyone could hear him a mile away!!! It got turned into sign ups and after 56 trips back and forth to his tool box, the spark arrester/ silencer was securely back in place!!!
There is a D37 message board You Tube vid posted that have Gumby and Sage on Ruts Hill. Sage is the one in 4th place trying to do a 360 on his approach to the hill??? KJ
