Here is the 2013 Race and Pits Schedule, please sign up for pit duties.

PIT CREW NOTES (in addition to following the established club pit
rules & responsibilities)
1. Afternoon before race, pick pit spot and mark with ribbon
   and Viewfinder signs.
2. Morning of race, set up Participant sign up sheet and collect rider gas
   cans/goggles etc. to take to pit. Make sure racers know where
   you are on pit row.
3. In addition to the dump cans/pit bags, make sure you have the
   following at the pits:
   Water for racers?A tool box?.towels/rags
4. Pit Captain will assign pit responsibilities?..who will remove gas
   cap and hold throttle, hold towel between rider and gas cap, dump
   gas, give rider clean goggles and water.
5. Determine what order you think riders will arrive and pre-stage
   their gas/goggles. As riders complete their pit, go to the next
   riders on the list and so on down the list.
6. Monitor the finish line for both 1 and 2 loop riders?.although the
   club policy is that no one leave until all riders are in, it is primarily
   the pit crews responsibility to account for all riders, and to arrange
   to get anyone hurt or broken down on the course.
7. Pit Captain is responsible for safety in the pit area. Non-pit crew
   will be directed to remain out of the immediate are where racers
   are pulling in so the pit crew can do their job.
8. At completion of race, note which club members were present and
   what pit duties they performed.
   (Make sure the sheets stay with the clipboard.)

*THE PIT CAPTAIN WILL TAKE ACTIVE CONTROL OF THE PIT AREA *

List updated, and I have added a new column to show who has the Pit Supplies. I will also be putting some new info regarding Pit Procedures but I have had a long day so I will get it up soon.

I have some of the pit stuff for DMC. Will need to transfer to the next pit cptain. We will be at 4aces as well so if the Jenkins want we can bring it back for that.

Yes Steve and Betty are pitting but I have the stuff from this weekend. I am waiting to see what happends with all the pit duties, Booger and I are chasing point in BOTW and desert so I am not sure how/when I will fit my pit duty in. So I thought I would help out with storage and transporting the stuff in the meantime.

Chris,
You have So Cal down as "no pit" but that's a National H&H so I think it needs a pit. If I'm correct please put me down for that race.

HMMM! would of sworn it said that, maybe I was looking at another So Cal event, oh well, oldtimers strikes again. In any event put me down for the So Cal National Chris.

I am holding back for the same reason. I pull the trigger on a pit near the end of the season. Strategy is important when 'your old and slow' !!! KJ

I will go "out on a limb" and say KJ will give Brewer, Kenyon, Seda some competition this year _.._
His time for the Rabbit race was respectable against the 2 loop guys.

I have the easy up, don't know who has the pit box. Probably won't get the base station radio fixed by then.

Don't forget that Prospectors is cancelled this weekend. I see it is still listed as TBD.

We need someone to help out with the checkers pits next weekend, November 9th and 10th, my dad can't cover this one on his own as he has recently put his back out and won't be able to lift a gas can.
