Anyone going to the H&H on the 24th? We would go to SoCal this weekend, but we have a wedding to attend.
We are definitely going to do our best to make it to 100's on the 24th.
-
That may be doable. They're doing a RHR chili cookoff on saturday, anyone interested in putting a Viewie team together and cooking some chili?
-
what about a team for eating chili instead!!!! i'll be team captain of that!!! ;D
-
;D ;D
THE JENKINS ARE GOING......YES,A CHILIE VIEWIE TEAM :D :D :D
-
We have two riders that wants to guest pit with us for this race, I said no problem. His name is Tyson Leeper and he lives in BURBANK!!!! He's a camper so will be out about noon on Saturday. If I don't make it please keep an eye out for him ans set him up.
Are we going to have a meeting at this race or at Jenkins land?
-
my dad and i will be at this one

As far as the meeting goes, I would prefer to do it at Jenkins land. I can't make this one. I will be home building a patio onto my house. Need to keep the dogs out of the rain this winter.

I really want to but am having trouble committing. Seems we're having a wedding reception in our backyard the first weekend in November and I have a few honey dos to take care of before then. Since this weekend is taken up by Kyle racing Glen Helen 24 hours that leaves only one weekend.
-
I think I am going to sit this one out. 4 loops! Screw that!
-
aw common aaron dont be escared, my dad just got your suspension working
-Gumby
-
I'm not scared. It's just not practical to ride AWAY from the ice chest that many times in one day.
-
aw common aaron if you dont go race who is going to see me lawn dart now that james wont be racing?

Congrats on the yellow bar! Met a buddy of yours this weekend, Cam and Margaret. Margaret's son and Kyle were on a team for the 24 hours of Glen Helen. Cam said you were moving in this weekend, hope all went well.

Nicole and I were set to go, but we have some family obligations to tend to that are gonna have us tied up this weekend. Bummed that we aren't gonna be able to go out and race.
I was hoping someone could do me a favor, i was suppose to pick up a trophy from the deset daisies race. they will have them at the United MC camp, you have to ask for Daisy.
Would someone mind grabbing it for me and holding on to it til our playday....any takers? Gumby?
Let me know, thanks.

I'm back in!
-
I can't make it either, too much stuff going on around here and I have to work Friday night :'(
-
Do we have a pit crew for this race? Can someone help out here?
-
Doesn't look like anyone except Gumby is racing Brian. I know Julian has the pit box (I have one of the quick fills by the way, borrowed it for the 24 hour race last weekend).
-
;) James will be going out to help,I am not sure about russ and I yet

James isn't much help with only one wing!
-
I may be there, I need to see if I can ride more than 30 miles :o
-
This would be our only weekend home untill late January. The wet desert definitely changes things. It will be epic for October.
-
I might just be back in on this deal. Waiting to hear from someone this morning, if they're going I promised I'd be there, potential prospective member that works for Mike, he rode our G.P. and had a blast, all he's talked about since then is racing says Mike.

I WILL BE OUT THERE! Myself and a gf are hauling the rhino out, cuddling up in the back of the truck . . . S'mores and coronas are what's on the menu!~ Should be a GOOOOOD TIME!~

Are you camping with us?

We don't wanna park 5 miles away from the "happenings" . . . . Seeing that it doesn't look like any "little ones" will be with the club this weekend, we'll be near pit row/where all the people are. Going for social experience . . Where will you guys be parking?

Don't know, Gumby is on his way there right now so he'll pick the spot. 714-651-0022 is his cell. 626-926-6077 is my cell.

I called him . . He likes parking far away . . So that's fine . . My friend and I will be on pit row/near the pits . . She's never been to a dez race and wants to experience the real deal . . Unfortunately parking 20 mins away from everything just doesn't appeal to me . . . Sooo we'll see you guys out there whenevers . . .

Good weekend. Jenn and Michelle had fun "borrowing" flags from various clubs, I think all were returned, along with mine that go nabbed again! We introduced some prospects to Viewie Washers on Saturday night as well.
Had only two club racers, Gumby and Cheatin' Jim. Gumby was sixth in class, I really don't know what class Jim was racin'. Jim must have thought he was ridin' an enduro as he stopped between loops for a sandwich! Julian was pit captain with help from Mike, Kyle (yea, Rag Boy came out!) and myself.
We had SEVEN guest pitters. Three were friends of Mike's employee Allen, who may be a prospective member along with another guest and we had 3 riders that contacted me via the district board. All seemed to enjoy the race and the club. One guest broke down about 10 miles from the finish and Mike Hastings and I went out and towed him back. Yes Mike and Michael Hastings were there for the first time in over a year, great to see them.
I'm hoping a few of our guest racers come back, enjoyed getting to know them. I invited a few to the festivities at Jenkins land, will let you knopw if they accept.
Forgot, Norm and Paul came out Sunday morning as did Lee henderson and a friend, Tyson I believe, for some National spectating.

Sounds like a retro weekend for shenanigans ~ Man we used to have so much fun on Satruday nights! Glad to hear the tradition lives on....

OMG the shenanigans were rampant. Of course your daughter and my son were in the middle of most of the mayhem. Just can't let them loose without supervision!!!
Fortunately Jenn and Kyle know its all in fun and I think most got the flags back already.

Viewfinders MC came home with a Vikings flag and a Lost Coyotes flag? Not by choice of course . . . James Jenkins has them . . . oh and the CHECKERS flag . . . James/Jenkins fam can we arrange these for return at the Riders Helping Riders event?! What a BLAST it was! Thanks Gumby for parking near the pits, sorry Gumby for the noise . . . You know how those Diggers are . . .
I told my friend we are going this weekend to do one thing: CAUSE TROUBLE.

Deanna said James is going to give the flag to Kenji. Said he didn't know whose it was, its handled. If you can handle the rest we shouold be good.

I beg to differ, ME and Gumby did quite well, I placed 37 O.A. and I know Gumby wasn't that far behind me. I rode my 200 KTM and had a BLAST. tHANKS FOR THE PITS IT WAS FUN SNEAKING UP ON YOU GUYS.

I am calling James right now it actually belongs to V1X (even better) Steve Roberts and he has asked that we not give it to Kenji he has never met him and has never seen him at the races so just bring it to RHR and give it to any Checker that's out there.
