Title: My heart breaks tonight..
Post by: Ms Jenn on September 05, 2011, 08:42:32 pm
Viewfinder fam,

It is with a heavy heart I inform you of the passing of Mama Cates from the Dirt Diggers Mc (Papa Cates - Paul's wife). She has lost her long hard battle with cancer. She fought until the bitter end just as she said she would. The dez familia is one shorter at the dinner table and that makes me sad.

This is sad to hear. I can't believe how often we are hearing of this lately. We will keep the rest of the family in our thoughts and prayers.

Kim "Mama" Cates was such a vivacious, larger than life personality and a true friend.. she will be missed tremendously. She and Paul raised 2 great sons out in the dez and I know they are really hurting... This corner of our world has lost a little bit of its shine with her passing. Our hearts go out to the Cates and Dirt Diggers families...

My heart bleeds for Paul and the boys. We have shared some stories since the diagnosis, trying to help Paul deal with this horrible disease. This is truly a sad day for such a great person, have never met the boys but must be great guys knowing who their father is.

Thoughts and prayers to the Cates family.
