Hope only the "good Diggers" come out this year, last year was a bit TOO crazy, even for Digger standards.

I still like "MY" spot the best.  ;D
There are people around but it isn't like people are racing past your camp or anything like that. It is a great area for the kids to ride and play and being at the base of the hills, it is fun for the adults to play on the hills also.

Still don't know if I am going though since I am on call.   >:(

We have moved camp a few times, the crowds keep growing.

If you think its bad out there now, wait until the Marines take Johnson Valley  :o

We have to keep up the fight and stop the expansion.

I'm referring to the sport we were at last year Charlie, more have discovered it now. Chris' spot is across Trona Rd. from Charlie's place. There were a LOT more groups at Chris's spot on Thanksgiving, maybe 3 or 4 groups where we were.

You should be able to grab that spot we had last year if you go 12/26, the one on the west side of the road.

At the intersection of Searles and Trona there is an asphalt strip, looks like Trona used to go straight right there. Take the little strip north, parallel to Trona off Searles about 200 yards, there's a dirt road to the left (west) follow that about 1/2 mile. Should be arrows on Searles just before you hit Trona coming from the west.

Have fun guys, we won't make it this year. First New Years in forever that we won't be in the desert. My cousin is getting married (first marriage at 52!) on Friday then we're heading to the lake Saturday for some wine tasting, etc. at Uncle Mike's and Mary & Duck's.

Have fun and be safe out there. We'll see you at Jackrabbits the following weekend.

We have some friends out there that have a double wide at Big River. Plenty of good riding
out there.
Both of us wish all of you a Happy New Year and a safe weekend.

Take Care

No one in our club is camped there. Just a group from BPMC that are very nice.

And If JJ tells you that I fell off the bike on a cool hill side, He was NOT wearing His GLASSES  :-@
I WAS wearing my GLASSES and saw Adam bust his butt in a cool sand wash  :P
Great weekend, beautiful weather, not too much traffic, No one got hurt (except JJ's bike), I did about 28 miles and feel good, not too much hurts.  ;D

Thank you Jenkins for the last minute place to hang out good times. We did a rhino ride Saturday with the ladies check out willow springs raceway it was a nice ride and then Sunday headed to Dave Chaney's house in Hinkley for a ride to the Husky memorial with old friends from Barstow. Trail bosses were Dave Chaney, Max Eddy and his boys. James and Terry came along, big fun was had by all, 42 started the ride 35 finished after getting lost twice I completed 117 miles. We had a shoulder issue, broken wrist, broken ribs  /;/and two broken bikes, not bad for a group this size it was very dusty. Everyone was back to Dave's house by 2:30pm Dave's wife Terry cooked up some great chilly, it was a outstanding day with old and new friends.

Happy New Year!!
