For anyone interested in buying their own 2way radio, preprogrammed with all the common off road channel including what D37 uses, I just bought this one from Rugged Radio, with an extended range antenna and high capacity battery for $116.  Several guys in the club including have this one and say it works really well.

Ok, GP is in the books.  Now lets go racing.  Who's going to Invaders Oct 14th?  At Teagle Wash, haven't raced there in a while.  And it's a Saturday, 10am start.  Chris McCauley is providing pit support so come on out.

Well another successful GP in the books.  Lots of work both getting ready and for sure over the weekend, but seemed like it running ran fairly smooth....any hiccups were dealt with in a hurry.  Race entries were up, lots of great time together as a club.  News email to follow but we voted in a couple of new members and inducted a couple of new life members.  And as a bonus, some new nick names were bestowed....The Nowaks are now and forever known as Hay Bale, Little Bale and Mrs. Bale, and have a plaque to prove it.  And Joey Gardner is now the new Wrongway, although that's just my opinion, with no plaque to make it formal.  And he can take comfort in the fact that the original Wrongway was valued member of the club who was always fun around a campfire.

For those that were at Lost Coyotes, you might have been aware that new member Tony Kennedy had a hard crash right off the start on Sunday.  Looks like 3 broken ribs.  For those of us that have broken/fractured ribs, you know it's no fun, and hurts to do anything but just sit still.  God forbid you should sneeze, cough or laugh.  Anyway, he should still be out for the GP, so we need to find him a nice sit down job like signups huh?

you bet, always need help in signups. My wife Pam and Staci Cory would love the help.

I told Julian the same thing, always find a place to put the semi-healthy, maybe in a chair at a corner with a flag and radio. Also need a driver to go fetch/deliver lunches both days, that's very important and something he could do.

Heal up Tony, ribs are no fun and be careful so you don't get pneumonia.
