alright this is what happened....... i was cleaning the inside of my truck out (yes dad i was actually cleaning something dont have a heart attack) and i had to get some grenades from under the seat and i had the mount for our .50 cal machine gun on top of the rear ac/heater unit. and attached to mount was the ammo cage for holding the ammo cans. well i lifted up the mount and cage and leaned it over onto the internal fire suppression system and was leaning over to get more stuff under the seat when the cage fell and nailed me dead center on the top of my head. i didnt even know i was bleeding till i put my hand on my head and noticed it was covered in blood and blood started to run down my forehead. and then i got 3 staples in my head. and i still have all my hair. none got shaved off. almost lost it though.

Be thankful you still have hair to begin with Ty! That is a good story though. Do you get a purple heart? Glad all is well and hope you get home soon so we can ride, your Dad is VERY proud of you!

Carnage EVERYWHERE! Dad said it was a good time though.  ;D

Don't worry, I hooked him up with a GREAT Honda mechanic.

Hurry home boy, we need to see you! Glad you're making it out safe and sound.

Ty is back on U.S. soil. He flew in late last night. I have talked with him a couple of times
and he says he is doing OK. Just feels a little weired with no one shooting at him.

Bill told me he has his Honda all ready to race. Ty has been buying stuff for it while he was over there and sending it home for Bill to get on the bike. Sounds like its ready to go and Bill said its running real fine. Hope to see you in the des. real soon Ty, let us know when/where and we'll do our best to welcome you home with an arse kicking ride, might have to bring out Uncle Charlie for that one!

Brett Huntzinger was on KSBY news as a 'soldier returning home' to San Luis Obispo last night on the train. He is home for 30 days before he goes back east to his base. He has 1 1/2 years left, but will not be going back to Afganistan. A large crowd was @ the train station when he came in and they got a police escort back home to Nipomo. Way COOL!!! KJ
