So is somebody willing to go to Shamrocks camp and pick up my trophy. Those guys are unreliable and I really don't want them to lose it before I get back to the desert.

YES. I will be your trophy girl. xoxoxoxoxox

It's big Daddy Golden Rod's big 5-0 this weekend.

It looks like there will be an alternate pit for those doing 3 loops. We will not be coming into the main pit after the 2nd loop. The alternate pit is 5 miles N on Besemer. Hopefully everyone who is doing 3 loops bike can do 50+ miles otherwise we will need someone to man the alternate.

Aww, someone can run up there and stash a gas can in the bushes for you JJ :)

We should have enough people there to handle it. I am pit captain for this one so I will make sure it is taken care of.

I should be out Sunday for the race, I can help man an additional pit if needed.
I am "flying with one wing" since I have a ruptured biceps tendon.
NO surgery required since you have 2 of those tendons and its common among 60+ people who are "active".
If you need a 2nd pit, try to use a gas can with only enough fuel to safely make it back to home check  ;)
But I will be there to help as needed.

Just noticed on the flyer that for 1 dollar you can buy your way in as a prospective member to DMC!
You can't buy your way into the Viewfinders!  ;D

I thought that has something to do with their insurance or something, they do it every year. Is it optional?

No 1 dollar of your entry goes towards that. It is either an insurance thing or you can't sue yourself thing.

I think this is more of the idea! Probably one more road block for the attorneys to drive thru!!!

Now that you say it, I think I remember a DMC member telling me that story, not a bad idea actually.

So, how did it go ??
Obviously I did not make it out, Had everything packed and ready to go, woke up about 4:15 AM and my arm was throbbing big time, took some more Vicodin, but no luck there. Woke up about 5:30 and decided I wasn't going to make it. Hoping to make it to work tommorrow, but not even sure about that.
Hope all is well with our riders
