Jerry Grabow has asked that club reps forward this information to all club members and to stress the importance of a strong showing of D37 members at one of these meetings.  Please also encourage your club members to wear club colors so D37 supporters are easily recognized.
 
Below are the times and locations of public comment meetings set for tomorrow night and Thursday night, along with a link to the 29 Palms Training Land/Airspace Acquisition Project website and the timeline of events related to the proposed acquisition.

I will be there, treatment appointment at 4:15, then a short drive over to the High School, hopefully before 5:00.

Good to see Bob, J.J. and Adam Johnson last night. There were a LOT of district folks there, most of them wearing colors. Basically the same B.S. as the scoping meetings a couple of years ago. I met with Grabow and our attorney before the meeting and heard where they are planning on taking the arguments, will be very interesting. Watch here and on the district board in the coming days for what to say in your comments and get your comments in before the 5/26/11 deadline.

I will add one thing, if you can't make the meetings, go to the website and print a comment sheet and do it from home/work/etc.
We need all the comment forms we can get, no guarantee it will change anything, but if WE DON'T DO ANYTHING, THEY WILL TAKE EVERYTHING !!
