So who's going to 100's Memorial weekend?

I'm actually considering it but not sure if I'll race or not.

Thinking about going Friday night then going to Cal City for Jackrabbits Poker Run Saturday night.

I'm in for sure. First time I've gone out to the des. for Memorial Day in YEARS. Usually go to the lake or stay home.

I'm in for sure. First time I've gone out to the des. for Memorial Day in YEARS. Usually go to the lake or stay home.

Now I remember why I don't go to the desert for Memorial Day, IT SUCKED! More accurately it BLEW, and I mean blow like I've not seen before. Was windy when I got there Friday afternoon and did not stop until Sunday night, a slight respit late Friday night but that was it.

Gumby, James, Robert Bragg and Stacey were our racers. All got flats by second lap only Gumby had a spare and kept going. Robert and James pulled out then followed the leader in for a finish. James was running hard on the 250 until the flat, was making time on them, all had HORRIBLE starts. Stacy only made one lap, pulled out because it was HAMMERED.

I volunteered with R3 for the day, it was extremely boring, which is a good thing in the overall but hanging out in the gale force wind all day, without a beer, was not the highlight of my weekend.

Pit was run by Julian & Katy and Josh & Deanna.

I was hoping for something special being it was a National Hare Scrambles but there wasn't much different than a long euro really. I guess there were a lot more twists and turns on the course and one or two nasty short hills.
