But going to Ventura to see Matt. Pam, Matt, Dad and I are going to the California Beer and BBQ festival! All the beer and BBQ you can consume! Sure hope they bring enough beer for me

Hope they let you in the gate!  They may have your picture with a red circle and slash through it.  You might get restricted to a soda pop only card.  You could be more famous (infamous?) than you know.

How did James and Gumby do??Im anxious for a race report!

James did really good until he crushed his pipe 5 miles in.   Gumby stayed ahead of me until the course markers disappeared and we all got lost.  He got himself stuck on a hill that he did not belong on.  He almost got me back. Pete did pretty good but I was too tired to look at the finisher board. Pete's son in law got a transfer ride with another first I think. Please forgive me for forgetting his name again.

    Gumby beat James to the finish line yay!!!!!   James recieved his fist DNF of the season,He is upset about it....
     because he smashed in his new pipe......as he was on his way in he came across a down rider who was hurt real
     bad......had to get rescue 3 rode the guys bike to get help......russ had to pick james up in the truck.....ripped
     off the radiator hose......the downed rider was flowen out to loma linda hospital with broken femur and other
     problems......well we had 5 riders  Gumby , Aaron ,Pete finshed, Ian won his class, I wasn't able to go to the
      finish. was a great day a little warm 8) 8)
