Matt had his first job interview today in Carpenteria. He said it went pretty well, met with the HR folks, the dept. manager and the C.O.O. We even found out that, through my work/Cal Poly network an acquaintance already works there so hopefully a good word well placed will help.

If he can land a "regular" job I'm sure he'll get back out racing soon.

I vote for Bob to be first in line, being freshly out of work and a HUGE cut in income.
That "Cadillac" Cal PERS retirement system isn't exactly generous to us low life worker bees, just those who are in a position to manipulate the figures.

Thank you for all of the kind words.  It feels great to finally be done and not having to worry about studying and homework.  Now if only I can get that nice 9-5p job so I can get back out their on my bike  .
