So how did it go this weekend? I ended up having to work all weekend.

As usual, the Viewfinders pulled it off and it worked well. Approx $5000  raised, The club looked great with the movie stuff. A great big thanks to the jenkins for pulling all the posters and movie related items. The Nays did an out standing job as well. Gumby, Pete, Steve n Betty, and who ever else i forgot. Someone else can chim in and fill in the blanks. Thank you all for a job well done and for the presence/helping runnning the check.

With the online donations we exceeded our goal of $10,000.00 for Marc's family. There's still money coming in for stickers and bracelets. Well done to all.

I'm wearing my bracelet as I type this and plan on wearing it for a week in Waggy's honor.

The race on Sunday went well too.  A few DNF's and a guest pitter. We had Gary and Gumby DNF. Gary went down around check one, contact with a Checker. You can read more about it on the District message board. Gumby had a blown shock. Terry finished with a third. Dave Springer Jr finished with an overall of  the novice class. We also had Dave Springer, Rob Springer, Keith, Pete, and a guest that finished. Not sure how they did in their classes. We had Julian, Yankee, Donn, me and Wyatt at the pit. With Darrel Moore and later Gary helping out. Start was late due to Moto tally issues.

One correction, it was Robert Springer with the Novice overall. Besides that an accurate report as I remember...........except it was HOTT!!!!
